The July collection is for The Dwelling Place, a nonprofit that offers safe housing and supportive services to women and children who have suffered from domestic violence. Here is a list of requested donations: toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, all purpose cleaner, toilet bowl cleaner, laundry soap, garbage bags, baby wipes, diapers in all sizes, Kleenex, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, toothpaste/tooth brushes, dental floss, deodorant and feminine hygiene products. Leave items in the Gathering Space collection crib or bring them to the parish office. There are informational flyers by the crib and at church entrances.
THANK YOU for your generous support for those in need.
A Word from our Pastor
Next weekend July 6/7 there will be anointing of the sick and elderly.
In observance of Independence Day, the parish office will be closed on July 4th and 5th. There will be no Mass on the Thursday, July 4th.
Please turn in your Catholic Services Appeal donation as soon as possible. We are at 78% of our goal. If we reach the goal the parish will receive a nice rebate for our ministries and services.

THE HISTORY OF OUR CHURCH
The Church of St William was started in 1963 by Archbishop Leo Binz who named the parish after his predecessor, Archbishop William Brady. St William was born in 1085 in Vercelli, Italy. William was a hermit who led a life of solitude, prayer, penance and sharing of faith by founding several religious communities in Italy. It is said that St. William performed a miracle by restoring the sight to a blind man. St. William died in 1142. His feast day is observed on June 25.
